Things you should about helmet panties (for younger leagues):

Most experienced teams have 2 pivot/jammer pairs of every color combination that they use.

Having 2 pairs means your jammers and pivots don't have to find each other at track turnover. A whole lot less confusion, and that little extra time to compose yourself before the whistle blows makes a huge difference.

You will make your referees very sad if both teams show up with the same color panty, even if the star colors are different.

Jammers will not get their points if the panty is worn in such a way that the stars are not visible.

Jammers or Pivot-Jammers will not get their points if the panty is not on their helmet, no matter how visible the stars are.

Very few star colors will show up against camoflage.

You'd be surprised how many men cannot see red from green.

There is a tactical advantage to wearing black, but I am not supposed to tell you that.

Molly Shipwreck will be very sad if it is Wednesday night and you and want them by Saturday, unless it is already made and you are willing to pay for express mail. (but she might be talked into making a set if you want to drive to Norfolk Virginia to pick them up)

My pattern tends to be a bit loose on the "Classic" department store helmets, but they are secure and will not fall off. If I made them snugger, they would not fit on the large Protec helmets.
